Alpine Celebrates Pride Month

June 01, 2021

June is Pride Month in Canada, and at Alpine we’re pleased to celebrate with the LGBTQ+ community at this special time. Starting in 1973, Pride Week was held in cities across Canada, including Vancouver, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. In 1979, one year before Alpine began operations, Vancouver held the first official pride march and festival, along with Montreal.

Like Canada, Alpine has a proud history of supporting the LGBTQ+ community. As an equal opportunity employer, Alpine prohibits discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. We’re committed to creating an inclusive workplace that welcomes all members of the LGBTQ+ community and we work to protect them from harassment, systemic discrimination and bullying in our workplaces.

Canada is a welcoming country and, as a proudly Canadian company, we’re committed to making Alpine a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels safe and part of a caring team. We instill these values throughout our organization and act as a partner to our clients in ensuring the same protections and values in their facilities.
